Felicia wins double Gold Medals at FILA World Championships!!!

Representing the USA, Felicia won gold medals in both No-Gi and Gi Grappling at the FILA World Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dec. 11-13, 2009.

We are sad to say that Felicia’s Women’s Grappling Camp has come to an end, but thrilled that more than thirty women from all over the US and Canada shared the experience.

Felicia makes BJMUTA fight team!

On Sunday, February 15th, 2009, Big John McCarthy’s Ultimate Training Academy  held tryouts for its MMA fight team. During a grueling eight-hour workout that included two conditioning circuits, plus grappling, wrestling, boxing and MMA rounds, Felicia was the only woman in a field of thirty-two competitors. Demonstrating dominance on the ground  as well as stand-up capabilities and spectacular conditioning, Felicia was among the fifteen applicants selected for the fight team. Congratulations to all who participated!
